Gender Pay Gap reporting – is your comms ready?

Published on March 22, 2018

It’s now two weeks to go until 4 April, when businesses with over 250 employees will legally have to report their Gender Pay Gap figures on their website and a government website. However, while they may have their legal ducks in a row, businesses also need to have communications strategies in place to manage and minimise any subsequent negative sentiment, both externally and internally.

In response to this, McCann has launched a new service for organisations that may be affected to ensure they’re prepared. This includes the preparation of external and internal communications strategies, statements, Q&As, social media content and media training.

With over 300 tweets each week appearing using #GenderPayGap, and more and more headlines hitting the news as businesses start to report their figures, it is vital the communication strategies are right.
