Kickstarting Careers

McCann welcomes new interns. We are delighted to welcome our first interns this week, who are joining us as part of our new internship programme under the Government’s Kickstart scheme.

Over the coming weeks, 32 interns will be taking up roles across our offices, which include Birmingham, Leeds, Milton Keynes, Bristol and London, in a wide range of disciplines such as creative, advertising, digital, media, PR, Social, strategy, research, IT, business leadership, content design and project management.

The positions are designed to support the next generation entering a career in Advertising and Marketing and are being offered and funded using the Government’s Kickstart scheme, which aims to give young people the chance to build their confidence and skills in the workplace, as well as gain experience that will improve their chances of going on to find long-term, sustainable work.

Ollie Purdom, Chief Talent Officer, at McCann Central, said: “We are thrilled to welcome our new interns to McCann Central. We have a fantastic programme in place, which we’re confident will offer a rewarding and empowering experience that will support their long-term career development. We’re looking forward to getting started on what will hopefully be the beginning of some truly promising career journeys."
