McCann Announces Sponsorship of Birmingham Design Festival

McCann Central is challenging small businesses and start-ups to pitch their business idea for a chance to receive a creative campaign from its award-winning team as part of Birmingham Design Festival.

For the second year running, we are a main sponsor of Birmingham Design Festival, creating a mini agency at the three-day event and inviting small businesses to pitch their business idea for the chance to receive a creative campaign.

Over the course of the festival, the on-site creative team will work to deliver a communications plan and campaign creative with festival-goers able to watch the work unfold, live. The team will then present the campaign to the client and other attendees on Saturday 8th June, as part of the festival’s Saturday scheduling.

Chris Robertson, Executive Creative Director at McCann Birmingham, says: “It was so important for us to help launch Birmingham Design Festival last year. Birmingham is so often overlooked from a creative standpoint, and last year really helped shine a light on what an incredible wealth of talent the region has to offer.

“We’re looking forward to this year’s event and working on a live brief for a deserving local business.”
