Screwfix Screwfix Top Tradesperson

Engaging with the trade and overcoming stereotyping is a challenge. So, we launched Screwfix Top Tradesperson, an annual competition to find the best in the business. The nationwide search launches in The Daily Star and runs across trade titles, with finalist profiles showcasing the skills, professionalism and passion there is in the trade – championing it as a career.

Shortlisted candidates are put through their paces at a national final before industry experts announce the overall winner who receives a prize bundle of tools, tech and training.

The competition, which has been running for 15 years now, has attracted thousands of entries and hundreds of pieces of media coverage across national, trade press, TV and radio. As a result, our finalists have even been invited to Downing Street to discuss the state of the trade with the Chancellor!
